WATS Agility Training
If you have a socialised dog which you can control effectively then you can do agility, although for safety it is recommended that dogs don’t start training on equipment until they are at least a year old. We run both Fun and Competition agility classes. Fun classes are for people who just want a run around with their dog, although if the bug bites they can progress to a competition class. Training starts with simple versions of the equipment (e.g. very low jumps) and very simple courses and then progresses through more difficult configurations of equipment and more challenging courses. Like all WATS training the emphasis is on having a good time with your dog and training is very much orientated towards you and your dog as individuals.
WATS Outdoor Training:
Agility Shows are fun competitions designed for the enjoyment of competitors, and to appeal to spectators. All sorts of dogs can take part. The formal requirements for competing in a Kennel Club licensed Agility show are quite simple:
