Agility

Agility can become a real addiction. It's fun, friendly and keeps you and your dog in tip-top shape. Most people's first view of Agility comes from the coverage of Crufts each year. However, there are more than 300 licensed Agility Shows held annually, not to mention the numerous special sponsored events which take place nationwide.  WATS’s annual agility show is one of the most popular in the country.

WATS Agility Training

If you have a socialised dog which you can control effectively then you can do agility, although for safety it is recommended that dogs don’t start training on equipment until they are at least a year old.  We run both Fun and Competition agility classes.   Fun classes are for people who just want a run around with their dog, although if the bug bites they can progress to a competition class.  Training starts with simple versions of the equipment (e.g. very low jumps) and very simple courses and then progresses through more difficult configurations of equipment and more challenging courses.   Like all WATS training the emphasis is on having a good time with your dog and training is very much orientated towards you and your dog as individuals.

Our training in Agility follows Kennel Club Rules.  Please contact us with your details if you would like to be included on a course.
